Title - I Shall End Well

Main Text:- Deut 32:29, John 19:30

Bible Passages:- Isa 55:7, 1 Tim 1:14-17, Pro 27:7, Gen 25:29-34, 2 Cor 6:2, John 14:1-3

There are 3 important periods in person's life, (it has nothing to do with religion, gender or status in the community), these periods happen to everyone. They are the PAST, the PRESENT and the FUTURE. 

Things we need to do/know concerning our past:-
1. Forsake our evil ways. 
2. We must come to Jesus Christ with a clean heart, confessing that there is nothing good in us, and that we want to live for Him. 
3. We must remember the pit that God lifted us from, and appreciate God for it 1 Tim 1:14-17

Things we need to do/know concerning our present:-
1. Do not sell your birthright, your relationship with God is very important! The enemy is trying to get our soul! Whatsoever we do today will affect our future. Pro 27:7, Gen 25:29-34
2. Do not procrastinate the day of your salvation. What you need to do today, don't postpone it till tomorrow. 2 Cor 6:2
3. Do not despise/look down on anyone, because of who the person is today. Don't consider yourself holier than anyone else. A terrible sinner today that repents of his sin and become the HOLIEST in the hands of God.
Don't use what other people are going through now to judge their tomorrow. 

Things we need to do/know concerning our future/end:-
1. We must commit our future into the hands of God
2. Be mindful of where we are going to spend our eternity John 14:1-3. Every decision you make today will determine where we end up. Not everyone that started well will end well, and not everyone that started badly will end badly.
Jesus Christ loves you and wants you to spend eternity with Him in paradise.

Title - Divine Destiny

For every destiny there is a destination and definition.

Determinants of Destiny

1. Yourself

2. God

3. Unforeseen forces

Destiny can be:

 -Delayed 

-Diverted (Distraction) 

-Destroyed

However, commit your destiny into the hands of Jesus and he will free you from whatever bondage that may be in your way.

Title - Enduring Victory

Bible Passages:- Joshua 2:1, Gal 6:10, 2 Sam 9:1-13, Joshua 6:25, Matt 5:13-16

People don't care about what you know until they know that you care. Compassion and mercy are of the Lord. 

We cannot separate Christianity from acts of kindness/doing good. We can't successfully reach out to souls without first showing kindness

Lamentations 3:22-23

To whom should we show kindness?

1. The widow - James 1:27

2. The orphans

3. The household of faith. Joshua 2:1-END

4. Our neighbors and perishing individuals, Gal 6:10

The benefits of kindness: 

1. The kindness you show today can speak for you tomorrow, 2 Sam 9:1-13

2. Acts of kindness can bring salvation to our household. Joshua 6:25

3. It authenticates our profession that we are God's children INDEED! Matt 5:13-16

4. It attracts eternal blessings. Matt 25:34-37

Anyone that knows good and fails to do it, to him/her it is SIN. Anyone that does evil unto his/her brother, evil will not depart from that household.

Prayer Point: Almighty God, I want to resemble You in character and in the way I do things. I want to be a genuine Christian. Please don't let me give up in doing good. The same way Jesus was known for going around doing good, please also let me known for good things.

How to determine you are forgetting your First Love

- When the Zeal of the Lord's House does not consume you anymore.
- No longer following up with our brethren
- When you lack Enthusiasm for the work of God
- Lack of love towards brethren
- Not seeing the good/positive side in people
- Rationalizing your mistake and trying to justify yourself against the scriptures
- Not believing in Eternity (heaven or hell)
 - Embracing things that you once detested

Causes of loosing First Love
- Due to dissapoint
- Hope Deffered
Solution: Even though humans could forsake you, God will never forsake us

Title - The Battle of the Heart

Main Text:- Philippians 4:6-7

Bible Passages:- Philippians 4:6-7.

There is a constant war the devil fights against everybody in the world today.

He has no respects for the status possessed by any. Not the rich nor poor, not the kings or servants.

The War is of the The Mind/Heart of humans. The devil's goal, is to place anxiety in your heart

However God wants you to know he has the solution. Philippians 4: 6-7.

All those things troubling your mind, pour it out to God.

 In prayer, Supplication and with thanksgiving pour out your hearts to God.

For example those facing depression and do not know the way out,  may commit suicide. 

Some may turn to alcohol, drugs even sex. It may make you happy for few minutes but once you become sober, you are back to your former depressed state.

What is troubling your heart today ?

Pour out your heart to God

- In prayer, Supplication and Thanksgiving 

Make your anxiety made known to God.

Our God, who has the solution to all our problems will give you peace in Jesus Name.

Title - Importunity or Persistence in Prayer

Main Text:- Luke 18:1-10

Bible Passages:- Isaiah 43:26, Luke 9:62, Mt 24.13.

The message of today is especially for those of us who have concluded that there is no need to pray (Luke 18:5)

May the Holy Spirit drop encouragement in our hearts and give us the willingness to pray.

There are moments in our lives we need to stay ALONE with God. (no distractions).

Although Jesus took 3 of his disciples with Him to the mountain (Matt 26:39-44), he had to pray alone begging God that this cup (dying on the cross) will pass away from Him. Yet not His Will but God's Will.

The point Jesus wanted to pass across to us in this passage is that when going before God:

1. Know what you want from God

2. Check if it is the will of God

3. Keep praying till you get answers to your prayers

Why to be persistent in Prayer 

1. God wants us to keep reminding him of His promises Is 43:26
2. He may want to check out the level of our patience Lk 9:62
3. God does not bless halfway Mt 24.13

Title - Activate The Prophesies of God into your life

Main Text:- 1 Samuel 17:51

Bible Passages:- James 4:7, Mark 10:48, Psalms 70, Mathew 15: 21-28

Below are the prophecies from God through our father in the Lord (Pastor E.A Adeboye).

1. The Lord says the harvest for the 100 days fast will be given this year.

2. The Lord says this year will be full of testimonies, those who have non before will have this year.

3. The Lord says some of you will swim in the river of abundance this year.

4. The Lord says there will be miraculous completion of projects.

5. The Lord says there will be fulfillment of dreams.

6. The Lord says there will be miraculous restoration.

7. God says the song of many will be – The Lord has been good to me.

Note, these miracles don't just occur automatically. However, it could be activated.

How to Activate The Prophesies of God in your life

Check if the prophesies are from God Ezekiel 13: 1-10

Believe IT - 2 kings 7

Pray IT until it comes to fulfillment Ez 36:36-37
