Don't take this as an excuse to sin. You must also repent from your sins

2. Spread the Gospel (1 Cor 9.16)

4. Intercede for one another (Ex 32.11, Gen 18:17-33)

Title - Remember me Oh Lord

There is no one on earth that is not going through one challenge or the other.
God indeed sees when you are going through difficulties, however, he wants you to talk to Him about it.

It is not that God has forgotten, but he desires that we remind Him of His promises to us
He is the Almighty God  who can do all things and bring to pass what he has promised.

A Biblical Example of someone God remembered is king Hezekiah.

Why God answered his prayers
a) He Prayed Is 38:2b
b) He poured out his heart to God Is 38.3
c) He had a perfect heart Ps 24:3-4
d) He walked with God in truth Ps 38:3
e: He did what was good in His sight

What God can remember you for:
1) God can remember your righteousness and perfect heart Is 38.3
2) He can remember His covenant with you Ex 2.24
3) He can remember your offerings Acts 10:1-4
4) He can remember your prayers Gen 19.29 Luke 1:5-13
5) He can remember your sacrifices and offering Neh 5.19 & 13.14
6) He can remember His Word concerning you Is 41.21, Is 43.26

God has several means of communicating with us. It could be through his word, visions, dreams etc.

Today, we would discuss dreams

What does the term 'Dream' mean?

- It is something both children and adults experience during our sleep

- It could also be your aspirations in life (i.e. what you yearn to become)

Sources of Dreams

1) Could come from multiple activities Ecc 5:3 &7

The Implications of this source

• It is not a reliable source
• The devil could manipulate your thoughts to his advantage (Flesh is magnified)

2) It could come through satanic agents

The Implications of this source

• The devil uses this as a medium to implant sicknesses, diseases and other evil things into a person's life
• The devil uses this as a medium terrorize a person 
• Could cause a person to have sexual intercourse unwillingly in their sleep
• The devil uses this as a medium to destroy a person's destiny

3) It could come through God Almighty

The Implications of this source

• It comes with peace & joy. The purpose is to guide and direct your path. Isaiah 30.21
• A medium to warn us of what is to come/impending (future) Gen 41:1-36, Gen 20:1-10
• A medium to tell us about God's promises
• To punish every enemy our soul Matthew 27.19
• A medium to comfort and encourage those that love God
• A medium to avoid the bait of the devil (Matthew 2:13-19)

Key Point

• If you have good dreams, pray it to reality
• You don't have to tell everyone about your dreams cause not everyone that smiles with you wishes you well Gen 37.5
• Don't ignore bad dreams. Pray it doesn't come to reality Isaiah 7.7

Title - Parasites

A parasite is an organism that lives in another organism, called the host, and often harms it.  

Spiritual Implications of parasite

1) To take the life of God out of us

2) They make you grow lean instead of growing in grace 2 Pet 3.18

3) Aim at cutting you off the vine John 15.6

Spiritual Implications of parasite

4) To take one's soul John 10.10

What are these parasites?

1. Bad Habits (e.g drunkeness, smoking, untamed tongues, uncontrolled appetite)

2. Ungodly relationships - 2 Cor 6.14

3. Unfriendly Friends Numbers 22:15-17

4. Sicknesses & Diseases

5. Impersonating Spirits

Activities of Parasite

- Sucks life out of a person

Areas in our lives that would be tested

1) Our love for God

2) Our Patience Hosea 12.6

i) in waiting on God's promises without grumbling

ii) our patience with others

3) Prompt obedience Deut 28:1-13

it may include waking up to intercede at night, fasting etc.

4) Witnessing (talking about Jesus to others)

5) Giving (Generosity)

6) Our Faithfulness (Loyalty) to God
